In winter, Casa Pregueira is heated by a traditional fireplace, a designer wood stove and air conditioning. It sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, with a 2-night minimum stay, and you book directly with Carlos on WhatsApp. The pool is not heated.
A traditional fireplace for the long evenings, a designer wood stove and air conditioning: there is always a way to keep the house warm. The kitchen is fully equipped for unhurried dinners, and the Delta coffee machine takes care of the mornings. Towels and toiletries are included.
In the morning, a walk up the Serra da Portela, right next door, or one of the waymarked trails of Alvaiázere. In the afternoon, Penela castle, Santiago da Guarda or Coimbra, about 45 km away. On Saturday mornings, the Ansião market. And at the end of the day, the fire.
