About an hour by car. The Convent of Christ, former seat of the Knights Templar and the Order of Christ, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We recommend coming by car — there is free parking at the door. Without a car, the nearest train station is Caxarias, and there are buses from Tomar and from Lisbon (Sete Rios) to Cabaços.
